Membership in the IFAPA is open to all foster and adoptive parents who would like to form a Charter or Support Group. 

Any group who meets the following requirements may form a Charter or Support Group:

1. All members of the Charter must be members of IFAPA (see membership page for joining IFAPA)
2. The Charter must have at least five families.
3. The Charter must have at a president.
4. The Charter must have an original name. Contact the membership chair at membership@ilfapa.org.
5. The Charter must have by-laws. (samples may be obtained from the membership chair)
6. The Charter must hold regular meetings.
